December

This is a collection of some of the things we did this past month. It is in order from most recent to oldest.

My dearest friend from high school was in town for the holiday's. She is expecting her first son and the boys and I were able to stop by and see her for a little bit.
The boys were amazed by Elizabeth's beautiful belly and the baby growing inside her. Tate was sitting next to her for quite some time and at one point he just leaned over and kissed her belly. We had him do it again so I could get a picture. He kept asking her when he could see the baby. She'd say in 6 weeks he'll be ready. Then finally Tate said "Is he in there because you ate him?" It took us all a while to stop giggling from that little comment.
Here we are at my aunt and uncle's house on Christmas day.

Christmas Morning - finishing opening gifts (like I said, we're in reverse order)
Tate loved this soft football Poppa & Nana sent him.
He's slept with it every night since Christmas.
Christmas morning before getting to go and see what Santa brought.

Christmas Eve right before we went to bed.

On Christmas Eve it snowed ALL day. It was wonderful and beautiful to have a White Christmas in Texas!! This was all I got as far as a picture of the house.

A big box is the all time favorite toy for any kid.

Student of the Week

Julian brought home this sign today. I asked him if he knew what he'd done to get such a great award. He said "I don't know, I think it's because I held the door open for like 99 people."

Thanksgiving 2009

We spent Wednesday - Sunday in Magnolia at my sister Allison's house. My mom, sister from TN, and brother were there as well for the long weekend. On Thanksgiving day The Dale's, Hoffman's and extended family joined us for a very fun day. We had great food, hayrides, and a slightly aggressive football game (we were all feeling a bit sore the next 2 days). The Dale side is hoping the Hoffman's will all come back for a rematch next year.

The Dale's prepared an incredible dinner for over 30 people.
BEST turkey & gravy EVER!!!
