Go to this link
I spent the evening updating my blog with a touch of the great memories our family has been building over the last month. Also I want to point out a new link under my favorite blogs list, Jessica Kaylor's Journey. This is a story about the daughter of a wonderful woman whom I've been lucky enough to spend some time learning from since I've been with the district. As I've been through the classes and sessions she's taught I've heard stories about her young daughter (about my age) with breast cancer. Since that time her condition worsened and she passed away just last week (in her early 30's). She was mother to 3 girls and I can't even begin to describe the emotions I've felt reading through her blog that her husband is keeping up with daily. Basically she is a stranger to me yet her story has touched me so deeply. We can not take this gift of life for granted, it is so precious.

Halloween
Last night was the perfect halloween. The weather was perfect and the boys got a trash bag full of candy. Granmommy was in our front yard passing out candy when we came home from school to kids walking by on their way home from school. Our friends The Howard's came over to spend the evening with us. Their oldest, Preston, is on Julian's football team. Barrett their middle boy is in Tate's class and they have another little boy, Gannon, who is one. It was great for the boys to have someone to run from house to house getting bags full of candy. We also had cousin Kyle along for the evening helping keep up with all the kids in the dark. Half way through our evening Joe the plumber & his lovely bride joined the boys, be sure to check out the picture at the bottom. You can ALWAYS count on Poppy for a good costume. His fat suits are my favorite. I haven't decided if I like this one or the ballerina from years ago better.
