GO RANGERS!!
We love the Rangers...
We were SO excited to have tickets to the Ranger's playoff game today. It was our hope that it would be a sweep ending the series today, but there will be a game 4 tomorrow. It was a perfect day with perfect weather and LOTS of fun. We got to the stadium 4 hours prior to game time. Luckily a friend owns a lot right outside the stadium and she saved a prime spot for us. The baseball game stared at 4 and at 2ish A&M was playing Arkansas at Cowboy's Stadium. The majority of the parking is shared between the 2 stadiums. To say the least, it was tailgate heaven down there. We went in for batting practice and the boys each got a home run ball (1 of Kinsler's and 1 of Hamilton's). They were overjoyed! There was a very sweet older woman whose seats are right by the bull pin, she caught both the balls and gave them to our boys. It was incredibly kind of her and meant so much to the kids. The game was loud and rowdy and full of energy. It was a ballpark memory that won't be soon forgotten, and hopefully not our last visit of the year. We're kind of daydreaming about a Rangers/Phillies World Series. Then Dad & Lynn can come down and go to a game with us. That would be so so very cool.

| ALDS game 3 |
Even our day before the Ranger game was fun and eventful. Our morning started really early by being at the football fields at 8:15. Julian played a great game and was QB the whole game vs. the half he usually is. His team got their first, very exciting, win of the season (20-12). As they walked off the field his teammates were attempting to carry him on their shoulders. Finally one little boy just picked him up (since he's a light weight and only just over 40lbs) and carried him all by himself. Michael and I got a big laugh out of that and we're certain Julian was feeling proud of their accomplishment.
