Rock of Love 3

Michael and I are a bit of what you might call reality TV "junkies". It all started with the Real world our freshman year of high school a few decades ago. We've been on and off the band wagon of pretty much every show that has come on the air since. One of our recent favorites over the last year or so has been Rock of Love on VH1. Tacky...we know, Trashy...we know, Distasteful...we know - but also really funny. We enjoy the mindless entertainment of these types of shows.

So when we heard Bret Michaels was coming to town and was going to be filming "Rock of Love Bus" (airing in Jan.) we had to check it out. For those of you who have no idea who Bret Michaels is, he was with the 80's "hair band" known fondly as Poison. To say the least we knew that without a doubt we were in for an interesting evening with an extremely diverse crowd. It was a blast and actually far more entertaining than I was anticipating. The only disappointment was that he did not play long at all. About 45 minutes into the show we went to use the restroom (we were fast too) and when we came back the show was over. We didn't even get to see him sing his finale Every Rose Has It's Thorn - bit of a let down.

After the show we heard a lot of screaming so went to see what was going on. Big John was having to settle the groupies.
